293-D Furnace Dock Road at Charles Cook Park, Cortlandt Manor
From the South: Take Rt. 9 North to the Montrose/Buchanan exit. At the bottom of the exit, turn right on to Rt. 9A (Albany Post Road). Go 150 yards to the Watergate Motel.
*Turn left on to Furnace Dock Road. Go @ ¾ mile (pond on left) and bear left at the fork, remaining on Furnace Dock Road. At the four-way intersection, make a right at the stop sign and continue on Furnace Dock Road. Go @ ¾ mile and you will see a green Nor-West sign on the right, followed by two overhead flashing yellow lights. Make a right at the entrance to Charles Cook Park and follow the service road around the municipal pool and through the gate. The Nor-West office is the one-story brown building at the back of the parking lot.
From The North: Take Rt. 9 South to the Montrose/Buchanan Exit. At the bottom of exit ramp, turn left on to Rt. 9A (Albany Post Road). Go @ 1/5 mile to the Watergate Motel, and follow directions from * above.
From The East: Take Rt. 202 West toward Peekskill. Go past McDonald’s, Town Line Motel, and the Cortlandt Farm Market (all on your left). @ 100 yards after the Market you will come to a traffic light. Make a left at the light on to Croton Avenue and take south for @ 2.5 miles to a overhead flashing red light. Make a right on to Furnace Dock Road and remain on through the next four-way intersection, continuing straight on Furnace Dock until you come to a green Nor-West sign, followed by overhead flashing yellow lights. Bear left at the entrance to Charles Cook Park and take the service road around the municipal pool and through the gate. The Nor-West office is the one-story brown building at the back of the parking lot.
